Who’s in and who’s out among the 2023 Ravens coaching staff

The Baltimore Ravens are gearing up for another year after a tumultuous offseason. But the energy surrounding the team has changed — drastically.

Most of that new energy came after quarterback Lamar Jackson and the Ravens finally resolved their yearslong contract negotiations.

But expectations are sky high due to major changes to the coaching staff. For the better part of two seasons, fans had been calling for Greg Roman’s head, and the team finally decided to switch gears at offensive coordinator. Jackson himself said Todd Monken’s new scheme allows him more freedom, and will allow him to use his arm more often to help the team succeed.

In addition, the team switched things up in the weight room. Injuries have plagued the Ravens for the past two years, with stars like Jackson, J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, Rashod Bateman, Marcus Peters and others missing significant time. It’s hard to place the blame solely on the training staff, but former players have had colorful comments for the outgoing strength and conditioning coaches.

So, let’s look at who’s who on the staff — notable additions, departures, and who will be asked to lead this team to the promised land.
