BALTIMORE — The Maryland Comptroller’s Office is on the hunt for fraudulent tax returns, freezing suspicious returns from several tax preparers in and outside of Maryland. The Attorney General’s Office has also indicted tax preparers in Baltimore for fraudulent 2015 returns, showing that the state means business.
