The “Christ Tree,” a 140-foot tree, is advertised as the largest fresh-cut Christmas tree in the world. It is adorned with 20,000 multi-colored lights and 10,000 ornaments. Organizers of the celebration invited thousands of guests to its second annual festival and tree lighting. The city of Enid held a ceremony for the tree lighting, fireworks and a Christmas concert. Organizers also asked those who attended the ceremony for food bank donations to kick off their community food drive.
