Office Hours: $1,000 tax credit for borrowers in Maryland & whether to start a nonprofit for PSLF

0

Office Hours is a free, semi-monthly virtual student loan clinic presented by the @Maryland Center for Collegiate Financial Wellness that provides borrowers with a trusted venue to help them navigate student loans and prepare for financial success beyond repayment.

The 7.27.22 edition answered borrower questions about PSLF–including whether to start a nonprofit to obtain loan forgiveness, reviewing payment counts, and the ongoing servicer transition from FedLoan to MOHELA–and how Maryland residents with student loans can determine if they are eligible and apply for the Maryland Student Loan Debt Relief Tax Credit.
