Eighth-seeded NC State took the win over ninth-seeded Syracuse to advance, 83-58. The Wolfpack shot 61% from the floor while holding the Orange to just 33%. They also won the rebounding battle by 18. Jakia Brown-Turner and Camille Hobby each had a game-high 16 points for the Pack in a balanced scoring attack. Brown-Turner also had 7 rebounds and 4 assists while Hobby added 6 rebounds. River Baldwin picked up 14 points as well in the win. For Cuse, Teisha Hyman had a team-high 15 points and Georgia Woolley added 14.
