Maryland State Fair opens with new events
The Maryland State Fair opened Thursday at the state fairgrounds in Timonium. The fair opened for the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. And just like in years past, there will be food, rides, farm animals and music. New this year, there will be a Paul Bunyan lumberjack show, Atlantis funhouse and a twilight thoroughbred horse race.
