Coming off a heartbreaking loss in the final minutes of Sunday’s game, Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh addressed the game and how quarterback Lamar Jackson responded on Twitter.In Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, kicker Justin Tucker had a chance to win it for the flock, but a 67-yard field goal attempt fell short in the final seconds and the Ravens lost 28-27. Tucker had four field goals throughout the game that kept the Ravens in it.After the game, Jackson lashed out at a fan on Twitter, who wrote: “When someone is asking for over $250 million guaranteed, like Lamar, games like this should not come down to Justin Tucker. Let Lamar walk and spend that money on a well-rounded team.”Jackson deleted his response, which was vulgar and laced with profanity, about three hours after posting it. While Jackson hasn’t apologized to the fan via Twitter, he did follow up Monday, tweeting in response to a sports journalist that he has not disrespected “anyone’s sexuality, sexual orientation, gender, religion or race,” which is in reference to what he wrote in the initial tweet.During his Monday afternoon news conference, Harbaugh spoke to Jackson’s frustration after the game, saying it was “out of character” for Jackson: “He’s really frustrated — just like we all are — and that’s just a place that you don’t want to live right after a game. I know he understands that. Lamar Jackson, if you’ve been around him, (you’d know) he’s got one of the biggest hearts of anybody. You all have seen the way he treats people, the way he treats kids, the way he treats the media. And, he’s also one of the biggest competitors that I’ve ever met. So, those kind of conversations, he takes very seriously, you know? So, you can track sometimes when someone’s baiting you just a little bit, you can’t live there. It’s not important. That’s something that I love about him, but I think that’s not a place he wants to be and that’s certainly not things he wants to say.”The Ravens came into Florida riding a four-game win streak. With the loss, the Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals are currently tied for first place in the AFC North at 7-4.The Ravens next host the Denver Broncos at M&T Bank Stadium.
