A Baltimore family is suing the parent company of Sesame Place, saying several of the characters discriminated against Black children at the park.The plaintiffs named in the lawsuit are a man and his 5-year-old daughter. They said four performers – “Elmo,” “Ernie,” “Telly Monster” and “Abby Cadabby” — refused to engage with the girl and other black children during a meet and greet last month.The family is seeking at least $25 million in damages from SeaWorld, the company that owns Sesame Place.They are asking for a jury trial.
