Woman killed in crash by driver who fled police in Baltimore

Baltimore police said a robbery suspect who fled officers crashed, killing a 74-year-old passenger.City police said officers were searching around 11:50 p.m. Saturday for a car that pinged a license plate reader for a vehicle wanted in reference to robberies in Westminster.Police said officers found the car in the 1000 block of West North Avenue and that the driver fled when officers tried to stop the car.Police said the driver lost control and crashed in the area of the 5000 block of Roland Avenue, killing the front passenger of the vehicle, a 74-year-old woman.
