Jeff Kinney, international best-selling author of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, delivered the University of Maryland’s Commencement Speech on Friday 20th May 2022. Born and raised in Maryland by a family of UMD graduates, Jeff Kinney is a proud Terp who originally dreamed of becoming a newspaper cartoonist. Jeff studied computer science before earning a degree in criminology and criminal justice.
