Vigil held for father killed outside his Anne Arundel County home

An Anne Arundel County community is remembering the life of a father who was killed outside of his home.Christopher Wright was beat to death in front of his house in Brooklyn Park.Officials said his son got into a fight at school and then three teens and two adults showed up at their home.When Wright said his son wasn’t going to come outside and fight, that’s when the group said he had to fight instead.He was severely beaten and died at the hospital.Wright’s sister-in-law, Kristin Karopchinsky, shared details about that night.”Somehow we got to the hospital on Saturday, and they gave us that news, and then as we approached the time, Tracy (Karopchinsky) just laid in bed and held him because she would not let him die alone,” she said.No charges have been filed and Anne Arundel County police said they are investigating.
