BUSHWOOD, Md. – A Chevrolet Silverado crashed into a building on Colton Point Road near Bushwood Wharf Road on June 16, 2024.
Emergency personnel were alerted to the incident at approximately 9:48 a.m. and found the truck halfway inside the old Suburban Propane building. The driver had already exited the vehicle by the time crews arrived and refused medical care.
The extent of the structural damage to the building is currently unclear. A building inspector from the LUGM department has been requested to assess the structural damage to the building.
The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
