We already know Motorola is gearing up to launch a new phone – the Moto S50, going by the XT2309-5 model number. The phone already popped up on China’s TENAA regulatory website. Now, we have an official launch announcement poster. The Motorola Moto S50 will be unveiled on September 5 at 10:00 in China. The poster doesn’t really contain much else in terms of information except for a trio of showcased color options.

Likely, the S50 won’t be exiting China. This ties in well with the fact that, as far as we know, the S50 is identical hardware-wise to the Motorola Edge 50 Neo. Some of the specs highlights include a 6.4-inch, 120Hz OLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, IP68 and MIL-STD-810H certification, stereo speakers, a 4,310 mAh battery with 68W charging, a 50MP main camera, 10MP 3x telephoto and 13MP ultrawide.
