Surveillance video shows a New York security guard confronting a man who entered a methadone clinic with an AR-15 and getting him out of the building.Reynaldo Beckford told WKBW he went into survival mode.”And when I turned, I saw in the corner of my eye I saw was the person and the rifle,” he said. “That’s all I saw. At that moment, I took a good look at the person and I couldn’t believe what was happening.”When the gunman kept his finger on the trigger, Beckford and other security officers worked together to get him out of the Buffalo facility, tackle him and take the firearm.”I would be lying if I say to you I wasn’t scared for my life. And the first thing that flashed over my brain was my baby who just turned 3 years old,” he said.Some have called Beckford a hero, but he says it’s all part of the job when you’re working security, which he’s done for more than 20 years.”That’s the business I’m in.
