Sky News Queensland Editor Peter Gleeson says he thinks Queensland Health could be “absolutely eviscerated” with the likelihood being the forensic lab testing unit will be taken away from the department.
More revelations have been unearthed during the DNA forensic laboratory inquiry after the lab was found failing in its duties.
“My sense is that when the final report is handed down in mid-December, we will see Queensland Health eviscerated, and the likelihood of the forensic lab testing unit being taken away from that department,” Mr Gleeson told Sky News Australia.
“It’s a damning indictment on the culture and toxic nature of how the lab was run.”
