MM 6.5: Five more Maryland baseball players enter transfer portal

Since Maryland baseball freshman catcher Cole Constable elected to enter the transfer portal, five more Terps announced the same fate.

Freshman pitcher Hunter Baynes, sophomore outfielder Luke Zeistloft, freshman infielder Koy Swanson, freshman infielder Riley DeCandido and freshman pitcher Luke Roccesano will all find new homes this offseason.

Each received limited game action . Baynes, who attended IMG Academy, made just one relief appearance. Swanson and Roccesano did not see any game action.

Zeistloft and DeCandido saw the most playing time. Zeistloft played in 12 games and had two starts this year as a sophomore, and played in 10 games as a freshman. He had no hits and scored just one run all season. Meanwhile, DeCandido appeared in nine games as a freshman, picking up his first collegiate hit as a pinch-hitter.
