Maryland women’s tennis was ranked No. 2 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) year-end Atlantic Regional Rankings, it was announced last week.
This is the Terps highest regional ranking since 2017, when they were ranked No. 2.
ITA’s regional ranking includes the top-10 teams, top-20 singles and top-10 doubles for 13 different regions.
For singles, three Terps finished in the top 20 of the Atlantic region. Selma Cadar, who went 21-11 in singles this year, was ranked No. 4, Kallista Liu, who went 26-10 in singles this year, was ranked No. 9 and Minorka Miranda, who went 13-11 in singles this year, was ranked No. 20.
For doubles, Maryland’s pairing of Maria Budin and Miranda was ranked No. 4. The two had a 22-10 record this season.

Former Maryland men’s lacrosse player Logan Wisnauskas accepted a job as Brown’s offensive coordinator on Saturday, per Ty Xanders.
Logan Wisnauskas will follow Jon Torpey to @BrownU_MLAX and become the Bears’ offensive coordinator, according to multiple sources. The 2022 Tewaaraton Award winner was a member of the @HPUMensLax staff for the last two seasons.
