WALDORF, Md. — A collision involving a motorcycle on Crain Highway near Holly Lane in Waldorf resulted in one fatality and two injured on Saturday night, August 31, 2024.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 9:55 p.m. to find a motorcyclist trapped inside a vehicle with two occupants. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the vehicle’s occupants sustained serious injuries requiring immediate medical attention.
Both patients were airlifted to Baltimore Shock Trauma Center by Maryland State Police, Trooper 7 and Trooper 2.
The Maryland State Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. As the investigation progresses, further details are expected.
