UP ON US, WATCH OUT FOR THE TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING EVERYWHERE. A:AV THOSE PAVEMENT TEMPERATURES ARE IMPORTANT BECAUSE OF THE RISK OF DRIZZLE. I HAVE HIGHLIGHTED THE AREAS THAT COULD SEERE FEZING DRIZE,ZL THAT MISTY RAIN THAT COULD CAUSE A GLAZE OF ICE ON THE PAVEMENT. AREAS LIKE BALTIMORE U95P TOWARDS CECIL COUNTY, EASTON, AND THE COAST NELI OF ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, ALL THOSE LOCAONTIS CODUL SEE FREEZING DRIZZLE AND THAT COULD CREATE BLACK ICE. ELSEWHERE IT WILL BE DRY AND ABOVE FREEZING .MANY OF THOSE LOCATIONS, 33 AT BWI, 34 EASTON, IT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS ABOVE FREEZING, BUT BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES CAN GET COLDER SO YOU MAY RUN INTO AREAS OF ICE THERE. PARKTON AND WESTMINSTER COLDER IN THE UPPER 20’S BUT THOSE LOCATIONS SHOULD STAY DRY THIS MORNING. SOME LIGHT RAIN ALREADY BREAKING OUT AROUND EASTON, DEWARELA AND NEW JERSEY. I AM NOT SEEING RAIN YET ON THE RADAR, BUT SOMETIMES THE DRIZZLE IS TO FIND TO SHOW UP, SO IF YOU ARE DRIVING, ASSUME THAT IT IS GOING TO TURN ICY. WE ARE LOOKING AT THAT RISK OF ICE THROUGH ABOUT 10:,00 IT IS VERY PATCHY TO THE NORT AND WEST. THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY WE WILL HAVE CLOUDY SKIES, IT WILL WARM TO THE MID-40’S, THEN WE FACE SOME RAIN IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ON THE FUTURECAST, AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE COAST IS CAUSING WET WEATHER TO OUR WEST AND — SOUTH AND EAST. THE STEADIEST RAIN IS SOUTHERN MARYLAND, THE EASTERN SHORE, AND MAYBE UP TOWARDS BALTIMORE AND WESTMINSTER. PAST MIDNGHT, AND HE PAVEMENT THAT IS STILL WET CAN FREEZE UP AGAIN. WATCH FOR THE FREEZING DRIZZLE THIS MORNING, SOUTH AND EAST OF ,US AND INTO CECIL COUNTY. RMWA INTO THE 40’S WITH RAIN THIS AFTERNOON, WATCH FOR ICY PATCHES EARLY TUESDAY, THE REST OF THE WEEK WE HAVE A MUCH MORE QUIET COMMUTE WITH A DRY WEATHER AT LEAST THROUGH SATURDAY. Meteorologist Ava Marie says some areas will have to watch out for black ice this morning as a frozen drizzle could coats the surfaces Monday morning. Areas mainly along I-95 and south and east of Baltimore should be alert for this until 10 a.m. Temperatures will be in the mid 40’s with rain possible throughout most of the day. Watch out for potential refreeze later Monday night. Tuesday will start a warming trend that will see temperatures around the 50’s later in the week.
