CHARLES COUNTY, Md. – Charles County Recreation and Parks celebrate Park and Recreation Month this July with special discounts, offerings, and free events for the community.
Park and Recreation Month has been celebrated in July in the U.S. since 1985 to “promote building strong, vibrant and resilient communities through the power of parks and recreation,” according to the Charles County Recreation and Parks website.
