Calvert County, MD. – The Southern Maryland Art Convention (SMartCon) is open to attendees on September 7th between 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. SMartCon features a variety of different artists and their work.
In addition to the art display, SMartCon will include an animated film festival, robotics demonstrations, a STEM section, and vendors. Technology is a big focus of this year’s Southern Maryland Art Convention, so there’s value in attending if you enjoy exploring the latest tech.
One of the most notable attractions is the robotics demonstration, which showcases robotics teams from Southern Maryland. If you’re interested in engineering or robots, then this is an opportunity to get involved with the local robotics community.
The Push Play Animated Film Series is another exciting event at SMartCon. You can buy tickets here for $10.25 to view a variety of animated films created by SMartCon attendees.
SMartCon will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn Solomons. The address is 13100 Dowell Road, Dowell, MD 20629. Entry to the convention is free; however, vendors will be selling their creations throughout SMartCon.
