MM 9.16: Maryland men’s lacrosse picks up 4-star commit


Maryland men’s lacrosse secured the commitment of four-star attacker Danny Rooney, he announced Friday on X.

Rooney is the No. 39 prospect in the Class of 2026. He hails from Syosset, New York, and attends Saint Anthony’s High School.

Rooney is the sixth commit for head coach John Tillman in the 2026 class.
