WALDORF, Md. – Danielle Sicam Alicka, a resident of Hughesville, has been arrested on multiple charges including home invasion, burglary, assault, and several firearms violations. The arrest follows a series of events that began on May 1, 2024, at a residence on Old Washington Road in Waldorf, Maryland.
According to court documents, officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a home invasion involving a shooting. Upon arrival, officers met with the victims, who reported that there was a social gathering at the residence when three suspects, two males, and a female, forced their way into the residence at gunpoint. During the invasion, the suspects made demands for property, repeatedly asking “Where’s it at?”
One of the male suspects allegedly struck a victim multiple times with a handgun while forcing him down the hallway. During the struggle, the gun reportedly went off, striking the victim in his right hand. The victim also suffered multiple lacerations to his forehead and face, causing severe injuries. The suspects reportedly stole several items, including a rifle, bags, credit cards, a cellphone, and cash.
The investigation revealed that Alicka, along with two unidentified male accomplices, allegedly carried out the attack. Witnesses and surveillance footage identified Alicka, who was known to the victims. Following the incident, investigators offered the public a cash reward for help in locating the fugitive.
On July 4, 2024, the Sheriff’s Office announced that Danielle Sicam Alicka had been located and arrested. She is now facing multiple charges, including home invasion, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, first-degree assault, and several firearms violations.
Alicka, who has a history of prior convictions, was prohibited from possessing firearms. She is currently being held without bail pending further court proceedings.
Authorities have stated that all events occurred in Charles County, Maryland, and the investigation is ongoing.
