Anne Arundel County Police say a woman was stabbed at Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) in Glen Burnie around 6:30 a.m. this morning. Officers were called to the labor and delivery department at BWMC where they say a man and women who knew each other got into an argument. Police say the man stabbed the woman with a pocket knife and the woman is expected to survive.Anne Arundel County Police say the two were not patients and were just visitors at the hospital. Police say the man tried to run away after the stabbing but was arrested a short time later. Police told 11 News this was an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.No further information was immediately released.
