OTHERWISE, THE BIG STORY IS GOING TO BE THE WINDY CONDITIONS AND THE WIND IS GOING TO STICK WITH US OR THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK. THE WIND ADVISORY IS ONLY IN EFFECT STARTING THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH 2 A.M. BY ST. PATRICK’S DAY, WE HAVE WARMER IT — WARMER TEMPERATURES HEADED OUR WAY. WE HAVE A WIND ADVISORY GOING IN EFFECT STARTING AT 2:00 THIS AFTERNOON. WIND IS GOING TO BE SUSTAINED AROUND 20 TO 30 MILES PER HOUR DURING THIS TIME. WIND COULD GUST UP TO 55 MILES PER HOUR. IT’S GOING TO BE AN EXTREMELY WINDY DAY. HERE’S WHERE WE STAND RIGHT NOW AND THESE ARE GUSTS. AROUND 26 MILES PER HOUR AT BWI MARSHALL. AROUND 20 AND WESTMINSTER. WE GOING TO PICK UP EVEN MORE SO THIS EVENING AND EVEN INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. LET’S CHECK OUT THE RADAR AS I AM MONITORING A FEW SNOWFLAKES POSSIBLE. PARTS OF NORTHERN BALTIMORE COUNTY. I DON’T HAVE ANY TRUTH THAT THIS IS HITTING THE GROUND. THIS IS LOOKING FAIRLY DRY. IF YOU ARE SEEING A FEW FLURRIES FLYING, LET ME KNOW ON TWITTER. NORTH OF WESTMINSTER, THERE COULD BE A COUPLE OF SNOWFLAKES REACHING THE GROUND THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURE WISE, WE ARE IN THE 30’S. 33 WOODSTOCK. 37 BALTIMORE. 36 CAMBRIDGE. THE THING IS BECAUSE IT’S STILL A VERY COLD MARCH DAY AND WE ARE DEALING WITH WIND, WE ARE GOING TO DEAL WITH WIND CHILL. MUCH OF THE MORNING FEELING LIKE THE 20’S HEADING INTO THE AFTERNOON ONLY FEELING LIKE THE 30’S. EVEN THOUGH I’M FORECASTING A HIGH AROUND 45 DEGREES. HERE’S A CHECK OF YOUR FORECAST. Meteorologist Chelsea Ingram says there could be an isolated snow shower in the morning and a wind advisory will be in place during the day as temps will be in the mid 40’s. The wind will continue through the week as temps climb into the 50’s. By Friday it will be in the 60’s for St. Patrick’s Day but rain showers will return.
