William Larkin Death – Founding Partner of Larkin Ingrassia, LLP William Larkin of Cornwall, New York has sadly passed away. He died on Thursday 30th March 2023 at the age of 67. He was announced dead on Friday through various publications made on Facebook. The circumstances surrounding the exact cause of William Larkin’s death has not been known at the time of this report. Bill Larkin, the son of William J. Larkin, Jr. and Phyllis (Galle) Larkin, was born in Bad Kreuznach, Germany.

Before moving to Newburgh with his family, Bill lived in Maryland, Colorado, Heidelberg, Germany, Virginia, and Queens, New York. It was in Newburgh that he received his education at Sacred Heart Elementary School, Epiphany High School, Siena College, and Albany Law School of Union University. Bill was practicing attorney in the state of New York. He was one of the original partners in the legal practice that is now known as Larkin Ingrassia, LLP. At the moment, Family Law, Matrimonial Law, Civil Litigation, Criminal Defense, and Entertainment Law constitute his primary areas of concentration.
He has represented a large number of clients in legal disputes involving issues such as divorce, child custody, child support and maintenance, orders of protection, business interests, and pension benefits. In addition, Mr. Larkin has successfully argued appeals in front of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, as well as the Second and Third Departments.
In addition, Mr. Larkin has represented television actors and other members of the industry in the negotiation, preparation, and review of employment contracts; product endorsements; and the protection, licensing, and exploitation of intellectual property rights. In these capacities, Mr. Larkin has also worked as a lawyer. He has obtained not guilty verdicts in trials involving election fraud, armed robbery, grand larceny, and scheme to defraud. In addition, he has represented individuals charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol.

He was predeceased by his parents and by his mother- and father-in-law, Angeline and Fred McDermott. Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Monday, April 3 from 4 – 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, April 4 at 11 AM, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, 321 S. William St., Newburgh, NY 12550.
