Weekly poll results: vivo X200 Pro mini adored, X200 Pro also gets a warm welcome

Small-but-powerful phones tend to be quite popular on the Internet, even if “small” hasn’t been an accurate term in the last few years. And, boy, did vivo bring out one of the best small-but-powerful phones that we’ve seen yet.

We’re talking about the vivo X200 Pro mini, of course. The phone received an overwhelmingly positive response that could become even more positive, if the mini passes reviews with flying colors. Some did find things to dislike about the mini – wishing for a 200MP sensor in the tele camera or not liking the optical fingerprint reader (the big Pro has an ultrasonic one). And, of course, its size – with a 6.3” display, it’s only a mini relative to the huge slabs that we have for flagship phones these days.

The vivo X200 Pro also received a warm welcome – in fact, if it weren’t for the mini, this would have been a great result. There is more uncertainty here, so more people will wait and read the reviews before deciding. Price is also a concern for this model. Note that we only know the Chinese prices for now, since vivo has yet to announce which X200 models will be available on the global market (never mind announcing how much they will cost).

Predictably, the vanilla vivo X200 is the least exciting model of the trio. If it reviews well and comes at the right price, it could become popular in its own right. The cuts to the hardware may have been too much and a large group of people think that the X200 isn’t the right fit for them.

We are working on a full review of the vivo X200 Pro. Some results are ready, so you can learn more about the battery endurance before the full review is out. We also have hands-on reviews of the X200 Pro mini and the X200.
