St. Mary’s, MD-On October 12th, 2024, at about 1:30pm the Coast Guard was notified of a boater in distress. Caller advised the boat hit a hard wave and the driver was ejected from the boat. The driver was able to get back in the boat. Units arrived on scene and discovered three adults and one child onboard. Occupants were being evaluated for injuries. Solomons boat ramp is currently closed.
