The vivo V40 and vivo V40 Pro are getting announced today at an event in India. The launch party begins at 12 PM IST, which is 06:30 UTC or 09:30 EEST, and there will be a live stream to watch the unveiling.
The phones share a new design of the camera island with the vivo S19 and vivo S19 Pro, but we know both the V40 and V40 Pro will have shooters that are co-developed with ZEISS.
The company also confirmed a new 5,500 mAh battery, which is a huge upgrade over the vivo V30 lineup. We are wondering whether vivo was able to develop other meaningful hardware updates over the past six months; we will follow the event closely and will report back once everything is official.
