Warm Monday but first snow of the season possible this week

NO ISSUES TO REPORT. I WILL SEND IT OVER TO ABE UP FOR THE CHECK ON THE FORECAST. AVA: THERE ARE SOME PATCHES OF FOG ON THE ROAD. YOU WILL NOT RUN INTO IT EVERYWHERE BUT ESPECIALLY DOWN TOWARDS 95 INTO THE CAPITAL BELTWAY AND THROUGH MONTGOMERY COUNTY. A SIGN IT IS MORE HUMID RIGHT NOW. IT WILL TURN OUT A MILDER DAY. MILD THIS WE WILL SEE FOR A WHILE. MID-50’S BY THIS AFTERNOON WHICH IS WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. IT WILL GET COLDER AS THE WEEK GOES ON AND ESPECIALLY THE WEEKEND FOR THE POLAR BEAR PLUNGE. IT WILL FEEL POLAR AS WE START OUT THAT DAY WITH WIND CHILLS NEAR ZERO. THIS MORNING STARTED NOW WITH DRY WEATHER. THE RAIN IS TO THE SOUTH. WATCH AS THE STORM TRACK IS SHIPPED FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. A COLD FRONT SWEEPING IN WHICH WILL CAUSE THE TEMPERATURES TO DROP DOWN AND CAUSE A SERIES OF STORMS THAT COULD LEAN WINTRY THROUGHOUT THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK. RIGHT NOW WE HAVE DRY WEATHER WITH 41 IN HEREFORD AND 37 IN ELKTON AND ANNAPOLIS AT 37. TEMPERATURES 50’S THIS AFTERNOON. IT IS ONE OF THE NICER DAYS OF THE WEEK ESPECIALLY AS WE GET SOME SUN LATER TODAY AND A LIGHT WIND OUT OF THE SOUTH. 50’S BY THE AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY OR LATER TODAY. THE SUN COMING UP AT 7:15 AND THAT’S NEAR 5:30 THIS EVENING. PLEASANT WEATHER THIS EVENING AND WE SHOULD BE DRY FOR MOST OF THE DAY WITH CLEARING LATER ON. THE CLOUDS BUILD OVERNIGHT. WE WILL WATCH AS LIGHT SNOW BUILDS BACK INTO WESTERN MARYLAND THROUGH TOMORROW MORNING. THEY WILL TURN SLICK THERE. WE WILL SEE A FEW SHOWERS POP UP SOMETIME TOMORROW AND THEY COULD LEAN WINTRY WITH SOME SLEET AND SNOW MIXING IN. WE WILL BE ABOVE FREEZING DURING THAT TIMEFRAME. A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR WINTRY SHOWERS BUT I DON’T THINK THE ROADS ARE IMPACTED BY THAT’S. WE HAVE TO WATCH INTO WEDNESDAY FOR THE STORM TRACK NEAR US INTO THE WEEK. THAT IS WHERE TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLDER WEDNESDAY MORNING. IF PATCHES OF SNOW BREAK OUT IT COULD CAUSE SLICK SPOTS. THE TREND IS TO KEEP MOST OF IT SOUTH OF US. THIS COULD BE A BIGGER ISSUE FOR SOUTHERN MARYLAND AND THE LOWER EASTERN SHORE WHERE THEY COULD BE HAVING ACCUMULATION. 50’S TODAY AND WE DROP TO THE 30’S TOMORROW. WEDNESDAY IS A DAY TO WATCH IN THERE ARE ANY SLICK SPOTS IN THE MORNING. WE DROPPED THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK AND IT WILL TURN SUNNY

Meteorologist Ava Marie says Monday will start out foggy before turning partly cloudy with temps in the high 50’s. Tonight will see the clouds increase as temps begin to fall into the 30’s for the week. On Tuesday there could be an isolated shower that could have some snow possible. On Wednesday, we could see the first real snow of the season with scattered snow showers in the morning that could make some roads slick so take caution.
