The vivo Y28s 5G we’ve been hearing about for a couple of weeks is now official. The smartphone is built around a 6.56″ HD+ 90Hz LCD with 840 nits brightness and a notch for the 8MP selfie camera.
Around the back, we have a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary and a 2MP unit. However, vivo hasn’t revealed whether the 2MP unit is a depth or a macro camera.
The vivo Y28s 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6300 SoC, boots Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, and has 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage onboard, which is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Fueling the entire package is a 5,000 mAh battery that charges at up to 15W. Other highlights of the vivo Y28s 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IP64 rating, and NFC (only in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Taiwan, and Europe).
The vivo Y28s 5G will be available in Mocha Brown and Twinkling Purple colors, but its pricing and availability are yet to be detailed.
