Upcoming Hollywood Shows releasing in August 2024: Emily In Paris & more

August is all about returning to some old favourites as long-awaited Hollywood shows return with new seasons. On the watchlist this month is The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power. The fantasy series comes with some exciting new additions for those vying to go back to Middle-earth. Meanwhile, Emily in Paris has more romance, and majorly, drama in store with Season 4 (Part 1).

The Umbrella Academy Season 4


The final season of The Umbrella Academy is here to answer some burning questions. The last time we saw the Hargreeves siblings, they had lost their superpowers thanks to Reginald, their father. It remains to be seen when and how they get their powers back.

Emily in Paris Season 4 (Part 1)


Lily Collins returns with another season of Emily in Paris. This time around, Emily is trying to move on from Gabriel, Alfie and men in general. As her very public breakup with Alfie goes viral, she must balance her personal and professional life to continue living her dream life in Paris. The first part of the season will be released this month with the next instalment coming out in September.

Only Murders in the Building Season 4


Our favourite trio – Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin are back for more sleuthing in Only Murders in the Building Season 4. This time around, Steve Martin’s Charles Haden-Savage’s body double Sazz Pataki from Brazzos gets murdered. Charles along with Martin Short’s Oliver Putnam and Selena Gomez’s Mabel must solve the new murder mystery.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2


The Rings of Power unveiled its truly epic trailer at San Diego Comic-Con not long ago. Prepare to return to Middle-earth with new and familiar faces. As Charlie Vickers’ Lord of Gifts/Sauron prepares a takeover, Rory Kinnear’s Tom Bombadil arrives upon the scene. With a mysterious character and a universe inching towards darkness, the show promises an exciting season.
