HUNTINGTOWN, Md. – A serious motor vehicle accident occurred on Hunting Creek Road in the area of Thanksgiving Lane on June 14, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., leaving two people injured.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene to find a head-on collision involving a Ford Fusion and a Hyundai Sonata. The injured occupants were out of the vehicle on arrival and were evaluated by EMS on the scene. The juvenile occupants were reportedly uninjured.
One patient was transported to CalvertHealth Medical Center, and the second patient was transported by ground to UM Capitol Region Medical Center for treatment.
The collision remains under investigation.
