Tom Brady Posts Thirst Trap to Celebrate 47th Birthday, Calls It a New Tradition

Tom Brady celebrated his 47th birthday by showing off his still very impressive physical physique.

The NFL legend took to his Instagram Stories on Saturday and re-posted a carousel post highlighting his big year, which included the seven-time Super Bowl champion enjoying a boat ride shirtless. On his Story, Brady overlayed the text, “Birthday selfie, new tradition! for accountability of course.”

His next story paid tribute to his big sister, Julie, who shares the same birthday with her little brother. They were often referred to as twins growing up despite their three-year age difference. On his Story, Brady shared a throwback photo of him and his big sister.

“The most important birthday today!” Brady wrote over the photo in homage to his big sister.

The next two snaps show Brady enjoying a birthday cake with his family, including 11-year-old daughter, Vivian, who helps her dad blow out the candles. Brady captioned the carousel post, “The lost files from 46! What a special year with these beautiful kids, the best family and friends anyone could ask for, and all of you! Here’s to making 47 our best year yet… Also, you get to post a selfie on your birthday, everyone chill out 😜🙌🏼🦁.”

It’s been a big year for Brady, who recently was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame. It was at that ceremony where he also gave a shout out to his kids: son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11 — whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen — as well as Jack, 16, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

“Your dad loves you more than anything in this world,” Brady — who lives in Florida, shared, beaming. “Your smiles outshine the morning sun. And where I live now, that’s a pretty brilliant sun.”

“There’s no greater joy than watching the three of you grow and teach me things on your way to becoming incredible young adults,” Brady added.

Ahead of the induction, Brady revealed the sweet video his kids made him to celebrate the momentous event.

“Hey, Dad, we’re all so excited to be back in Boston this week,” Vivian said in the sweet clip, “and I thought it would be fun to look back at all those amazing years as a Patriot.”
