Three Injured, One Flown Out After Serious Multi-Vehicle Collision In Prince Frederick

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – On August 21, 2024, at approximately 4:46 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident in the area of Dares Beach Road and Clay Hammond Road. 

Crews arrived on the scene to find a three-vehicle collision with one on its roof. All occupants self-extracted upon arrival.

Three Injured One Flown Out After Serious Multi-Vehicle Collision In Prince Frederick

EMS evaluated a total of three patients on the scene. A MEDEVAC was requested for one patient due to the severity of injuries. 

Firefighters established a landing zone nearby. The patient was then flown to an area trauma center for treatment. Two patients were transported to CalvertHealth for evaluation. 

Police continue to investigate the collision.
