THIS Tamil actor played Lord Krishna in Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD

Nag Ashwin’s ambitious sci-fi film Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and more is finally out. The film has an important scene where Amitabh’s Ashwatthama faces Lord Krishna on the battlefield. While Lord Krishna’s face isn’t revealed, we now know who played the role.

Tamil actor Krishnakumar Balasubramanian has reportedly essayed the role of Lord Krishna in Kalki 2898 AD. He took to his social media handle to share a clip from the film where his silhouette can be seen. Check it out here:

Krishnakumar Balasubramanian is an actor, director, producer and action choreographer. He made his acting debut in the 2019 Tamil-language film Kadhalagi. He is married to Rohini Rau and the couple has a daughter Atiya.

Lord Krishna Kalki 2898 AD

In Kalki 2898 AD, his face hasn’t been revealed. He appears shrouded in shadows as he meets Amitabh Bachchan’s Ashwatthama during a battle. Here, he places the curse of immortality on Ashwatthama. It remains to be seen if we’ll see more of him in Kalki Part 2.
