The Town of Chesapeake Beach Independence Day Celebration on July 3 (Viewing begins at dusk – around 9 pm) – The Town of Chesapeake Beach’s upcoming Independence Day Celebration is scheduled for July 3, 2024, with a rain date of July 6, 2024. Every year the Town of Chesapeake Beach sponsors a fireworks display at the center of the Town. View their website for the traffic plan.
Solomons 2024 Fireworks on July 4 (9:15 pm approx.) – All events are FREE and open to the public. Updates are posted on Facebook. Parking: There is limited Street Parking on and around the island with overflow parking at Glascock Field for $5 starting at 3:00 pm. 100% of the proceeds from parking at Glascock Field will be donated to the Calvert High ROTC. Trolleys buses are planned to help transport visitors from Glascock Field and around the island.

CHARLES COUNTY
The Shops At Waldorf Center Farmers Market taking place every Saturday through mid-November (weather permitting) (10 am to 2 pm), located at Shops at Waldorf Center, 3003 Festival Way, Waldorf, MD – Guests are encouraged to visit the Farmers Market, held in the parking lot near CAVA, to find fresh local fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, apples, oranges, asparagus, avocados and tomatoes.
