The first look of Wizards of Waverly Place sequel series, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is out now. The makers released the behind-the-scenes moments from the show.
In the first look of the sequel, Selena said, “This is where it all started. We’re home.” Speaking about his reunion with Selena after 10 years, he said, “It was awesome. We didn’t want it to end. It was great. She’s so good. She has such a quick wit that’s only gotten stronger.”
The sequel features David Henrie as Justin Russo and Selena Gomez as Alex Russo, his onscreen sister. It also includes another familiar face from the original series: David DeLuise’s Jerry Russo. While Gomez serves as an executive producer on the Wizards of Waverly Place reboot, she is only expected to appear in the first episode at this point.
