The Strictly Come Dancing 2024 final is almost upon us, with four celebrities battling it out to lift the glitterball trophy on Saturday evening. Ellie Leach won last year’s series, and it might not be an as closely-fought battle for the win in this year’s show. We’re going to take you through each couples’ chances of winning Strictly 2024 based on the odds from various betting sites.
Chris McCausland – 93.3% chance of winning
Where do we start with this man? You could be forgiven for not knowing much about Chris McCausland, but he’s certainly made his mark on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. The comedian is partnered with Dianne Buswell, who is yet to be a winner on the show herself, but it looks as though that will change if the probability chances are to be believed.
McCausland has endeared himself to the British public on Strictly, and he’s struck up a great partnership with Buswell, who hasn’t been shy in voicing her praise for the 47-year-old, who is registered blind after losing his sight in his 20s and 30s. He hasn’t let that impact him though, and has got better and better as the weeks have progressed. He’s struggled to topple the likes of JB Gill and Tasha Ghouri from the top of the judges leaderboard, but the public seemingly love him and his story, and he’d be a more than worthy winner of the show. He’s got a 93.3% chance of winning Strictly Come Dancing 2024.
JB Gill – 7.7% chance of winning
JB Gill has endured plenty of positives and negatives during his time on Strictly Come Dancing, with his scores varying in the early stages of the competition, which even saw him fighting to stay in the show after being faced with a dance-off. However, he’s certainly improved in recent weeks.
It’s worth remembering that JB has also had to deal with his first partner on the show, Amy Dowden, having to withdraw after being rushed to hospital after the Week 6 show. Lauren Oakley has picked up where Dowden left off though, and helped him earn a perfect 40 score in the semi-final. He’s got a 7.7% chance of winning Strictly Come Dancing, which seems low, but that’s largely due to the fact that Chris McCausland is the runaway favourite amongst the public.
Sarah Hadland – 3.4% chance of winning
The actress has surprised many avid viewers of the show, and she’s more than deserving of a place in the Strictly 2024 final. She’s partnered up with popular professional Vito Coppola, who has certainly got the best out of Hadland. We’ve not quite seen the perfect 40 score from Sarah and Vito as of yet, but they could well be saving that for the final this weekend.
She topped the judges leaderboard in Week 9 with a score of 39, and it wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to see her potentially beating Tasha Ghouri, despite the Love Island star finishing above her in the leaderboard on most weeks. Hadland has a 3.4% chance of winning, and it seems a tough ask for her to get near McCausland for public votes on Sunday.
Tasha Ghouri – 3.2% chance of winning
Tasha Ghouri is a Love Island star that has caught the eye for all the right reasons on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. She’s not scored below 37 out of 40 since Week 5 of the competition, and considering we’re now heading into the 13th week of the show, it’s a hugely impressive statistic.
Her and Aljaž Škorjanec are arguably the best dancers in terms of ability in the show, but for one reason or another, they’ve struggled to retain confidence from the public in recent weeks. Despite being ranked highly in the leaderboards, Tasha has been in the dance-off in the last two weeks, which hints that she’s unlikely to be able to challenge for the Strictly Come Dancing trophy, especially considering none of the judges scores count for anything in the final, as it’s all down to the public vote.
