Annapolis MD. – On August 29th, young interns in Annapolis were awarded certificates for completion of the 2024 City of Annapolis Summer Internship Program. Interns who completed the program showed up to a ceremony of commendation, as seen in event pictures.
The City of Annapolis Summer Internship Program is a comprehensive paid experience that provides young people with multiple projects to help them become educated community members. During the program, interns engage in career path planning, training classes, and networking to sharpen their career skills.
There are two sides to the City of Annapolis Summer Internship Program, which include the young teen and young adult programs. The young teen program accepts children aged 14-16, while the young adult program focuses on those aged 17-26.
In a Facebook post, the City of Annapolis stated, “Huge congratulations to our interns for completing the City of Annapolis Summer Internship Program! Your hard work and dedication have truly made an impact. We’re excited to see all the amazing things you’ll achieve in the future!”
