LEONARDTOWN, Md. – The St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks department has released the 2024-2029 Strategic Plan for public availability. This plan provides direction for the department through the 2029 planning time-period. It also details goals and objectives which represents the commitment R&P provides to its mission and to the citizens of St. Mary’s County.
We encourage all citizens to explore the plan for understanding of St. Mary’s County programs and operations at 8 recreation facilities, 23 parks, 18 playgrounds, 15 public landings, the Three Notch bike trail, 4 museums, and Wicomico Shores Golf Course.
