Security guard shoots man at Fells Point establishment, police say

A security guard of an establishment in Fells Point shot a man overnight after an altercation, Baltimore police said.City police said officers were called around 2:22 a.m. to the 700 block of South Broadway, where a man was suffering from gunshot wounds to the body. He was taken to a hospital.A preliminary investigation indicates the man and a security officer were in a physical altercation, and the security officer fired their weapon, striking the victim.
