Samsung US drops Galaxy Z Fold6 to just $1,200, if you pick one of the exclusive colors

As you may know, Galaxy flagships often have exclusive color options that are available through Samsung.com and no other retailer. For the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, for example, they are White and Crafted Black (the latter has a carbon fiber look to it). Normally, the exclusive colors cost the same as the others – but not today.

You can have the Galaxy Z Fold6 in White or Crafted Black for $300 less than the other colorways. This stacks with the $400 straight discount that Samsung US is offering if you choose not to trade-in.

This $700 total discount applies to the 256GB model, which drops to $1,200, and the 512GB model, which can be yours for $1,320. These are the lowest prices that we’ve seen yet.

Note: Samsung is low on stock of 256GB Z Fold6 in White, but more is coming – one can be at your door by October 18. The 256GB Crafted Black version is in stock and so are the two 512GB models, so there won’t be shipping delays.

You could also choose to trade in an old phone – depending on what you have, it can reduce the price by up to $1,200. Right now trade-in valuations are boosted by $300, as long as the device is in good condition.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 offer is more restrained. Two colors, Mint and Blue, are $120 off if you get the 512GB model. Essentially, this is a free storage upgrade as this is how much it costs to go from a 256GB phone to 512GB. You should also be able to get a $150 discount without trading in an old phone or up to $800 off if you do get rid of an old device.

Finally, a quick mention of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra for the “I don’t like foldables” crowd. It starts at $1,300 for a 12/256GB unit as usual, but you can have up to $300 off without a trade-in or up to $750 off with a trade-in. Note that we’re looking at unlocked phones, carriers have their own offers.

We may get a commission from qualifying sales.
