Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is looking at a price hike in Europe

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Tab S10 flagship tablets soon, as the devices were spotted in leaked promo images. Today, a new report comes from Switzerland, where the prices for the S10+ and S10 Ultra options were posted.

The new tablets could be about CHF 150 (about €100) more expensive than the previous series, which would be an interesting sight because they are rumored to have a Dimensity 9300+ chip.

Switzerland

Galaxy Tab S10+ Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
256 GB, Wi-Fi CHF 1,179 (€1,258) CHF 1,399 (€1,492)
512 GB Wi-Fi CHF 1,299 (€1,385) CHF 1,519 (€1,620)
1 TB, Wi-Fi CHF 1,829 (€1,951)
256 GB, 5G CHF 1,319 (€1,407) CHF 1,549 (€1,652)
512 GB, 5G CHF 1,439 (€1,535) CHF 1,669 (€1,780)
1 TB, 5G CHF 1,979 (€2,111)

A quick look back to July 2023 reveals that the Tab S9+ (Wi-Fi, 256 GB) was priced at CHF 1,029 in Switzerland, which is CHF 120 cheaper than its expected successor. The situation is similar with the Tab S9 Ultra (Wi-Fi, 256 GB), which was initially launched with a CHF 1,229 price tag – CHF 170 cheaper than its expected successor.

If the rumors are true, Samsung’s decision to switch from Qualcomm to Mediatek chips could be an interesting one. This would be the first time the Korean company would equip its tablets with the flagship Dimensity 9300-series SoC, which we established is on par with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in raw performance, according to our tests.
