ANNAPOLIS, Md. – On August 25th at 7:00 am, the Annapolis Striders held its Annual Ten Mile Run. This run marks the 49th annual run, but the tradition dates back to 1978.

The Annual Annapolis Ten Mile Run is run by the Annapolis Striders, a non-profit organization promoting mental health and physical exercise through running. Additionally, hundreds of volunteers came to help set up for the event.

Hundreds of runners and onlookers enjoyed the warm weather while racing to see who could achieve the fastest completion time. Athletes Serving Athletes also made an appearance in the form of 14 different teams.

According to the preliminary results, Clarke Otte completed the run with the highest speed, finishing at 52 minutes and 11 seconds. Ben Doiron came in second at 53:46, and Joe Reimann crossed the finish line third at 54:00. You can find the full preliminary results list here.
