SOLOMONS, Md. – Ryan Keith Follesé and Rory John Zak, the dynamic duo known as Ryan & Rory will open for renowned country artist Jamey Johnson on September 6, 2024, at the Motto Mortgage Preferred and RE/Max One Waterside Pavilion at the Calvert Marine Museum (CMM). This performance marks a significant milestone for the duo, showcasing their talent to a broader audience.

Gaining momentum, Ryan & Rory were recently featured as a “Highway Find” on Sirius XM’s country channel, The Highway. Their collaboration, which started with a pivotal phone call facilitated by a mutual friend, has quickly become a standout partnership in country music.

Ryan, who previously fronted the pop-rock band Hot Chelle Rae, has embraced his country roots following the band’s success. Rory, a Raleigh, North Carolina native, has built a robust performing career, including over 300 shows annually since 2017.

Highlights from their self-titled debut EP include “Pour Decisions,” a post-breakup anthem playing all summer long on The Highway, and “Drunk and Lonely,” a honky-tonk favorite. The EP also features personal tracks like “Thanks Mama” and the celebratory “This Town,” reflecting their storytelling prowess and musical influences.
