The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ launched last September, and so its successor is now most likely only a few weeks away from arriving. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ might use the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 SoC, according to a new rumor from China. That’s the same chip that’s in the upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.
For reference, note that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ also went with a MediaTek chipset, the Dimensity 7200 Ultra. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is also said to come with a 50 MP rear camera, which is interesting because its predecessor’s setup was 200 MP (main) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro).
Redmi Note 13 Pro+
We’re assuming the 50 MP sensor referenced in this leak belongs to the main camera, but it could theoretically also be the ultrawide. One thing’s sure, however (according to the same source): the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will not have a dedicated telephoto snapper.
The 14 Pro+ will allegedly have an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, and a camera island design reminiscent of recent Honor phones. As always, we have to caution you against taking any of this for granted – it’s best to remain skeptical at least until more rumors and leaks corroborate some of this information.
