Realme unveiled today the design of the GT7 Pro, and we also learned the phone will come with Realme UI 6.0. The user interface will be based on Android 15, and we also got a roadmap for the global update rollout.
The first devices that will get the new UI are the Realme GT 6 and GT 6T, as well as some Realme 13 and Realme 12 mid-rangers.
The company split the rollout into two periods – the first is mostly Q4 2024, which could span into January 2025, and the other is six months, meaning nine devices will get Realme UI 6.0 no later than April 2025.
Realme is planning to refresh the design to be more dynamic and the interface to become more interactive and will “extend beyond what is available on Android devices”.
There are some AI-powered features like AI Erase 2.0, AI Documents, AI Recording Summary, and AI Remove reflections, all of which should make using a Realme phone a bit easier.
The first phone with Realme UI 6.0 will still be the GT 7 Pro, scheduled to arrive in China on November 4, followed by an international launch in India a few weeks later.
