LEONARDTOWN, Md. – St. Mary’s County Government’s Department of Recreation & Parks (R&P) is pleased to announce that registration for 2024-25 Parents’ Night Out and TR Kids Club Parents’ Night Out is now open!
Parents – are you in need of a night out? We’ve got childcare covered for children ages 5-12 with Parents’ Night Out at Hollywood Recreation Center. Attending kiddos will participate in a variety of activities, games, and themed events, supervised by our experienced school age care program staff. Pizza, juice, and a snack will be provided. Pre-registration is required.
Parents’ Night Out will be offered from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. on:
- Oct. 26, 2024 (Spooky theme)
- Dec. 14, 2024 (Holiday theme)
- Feb. 15, 2025 (History theme)
- April 5, 2025 (Spring theme)
TR Kids Club is also back with Parents’ Night Out, giving parents a break and providing extra social recreation time for kids with disabilities, ages 5-13. We will provide a variety of art projects, games, therapeutic activities, and pizza! Participants must be able to provide self-care independently and be able to function in a large group (10+) with a 1:4 staffing ratio. Participants are welcome to bring their own food to substitute for food allergies. Pre-registration is required.
TR Kids Club – Parents’ Night Out will be held on:
- Oct. 18, 2024 (Halloween Spooktacular)
- Nov. 15, 2024 (Tom Turkey Time)
- Dec. 13, 2024 (Holidays Around the World)
Registration will close one week prior to each program and late registrations will not be accepted. Minimum enrollment must be met for programs to run.
