Samsung started rolling out the update to One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Z Fold5 on Monday, and today the company is pushing the update to these devices’ predecessors along with some tablets.
We’re talking about the Galaxy S22 family, the Fold4, Flip4, and the Galaxy Tab S8 models. As usual with such updates, the rollout begins in Samsung’s native South Korea.
For the Galaxy S22 family, it’s rolling out as software version S90xNKSU5EXH7 with a download size of over 2.8GB. The Galaxy Z Flip4 gets version F721NKSU4GXH7, while the Fold4 has F936NKSU4GXH7. The Tab S8’s firmware is X700XXU8CXHB, the S8+ gets X800XXU8CXHB, and the S8 Ultra has X900XXU8CXHB.
The update also brings the September 2024 security patch level to all of these devices. The One UI 6.1.1 update most importantly contains the AI features that debuted on the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
Now that the rollout has started, expect it to quickly spread across the world in the next few days.
